Our journey began in 1992 when Dr Stiina Leinonen established Carina Dental Practice in Carina Heights, QLD. With a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland, Dr Stiina stays at the forefront of dental advancements, embracing the latest technology, techniques and equipment.
As a Finnish native, our practice attracts patients from all over Brisbane and beyond and Finnish-speaking individuals in the region. We take pride in providing a friendly and comfortable environment for every patient's dental needs.

Our small, friendly team is committed to excellence that extends to our services. Our practice uses special equipment, including a digital resin printer, milling machine and OPG machine for full mouth X-rays, enabling precise denture fabrication and comprehensive diagnostics. We offer happy gas and numbing injections, ensuring our patients a relaxed and pain-free experience.

Dr Stiina Leinonen, B.D.Sc. U.Q. 1991
As a highly skilled general dentist, Dr Stiina Leinonen is dedicated to providing dental treatments of the highest quality. She places a strong emphasis on continued professional development. She stays ahead in the field with cutting-edge equipment, including Fotona Lightwalker laser, iTero Intraoral Scanner, EMS Airflow Master, OPG/CBVT Radiography, and Digital Intraoral X-ray Sensors.
Ms Emma Overton, Dental Assistant
Ms Emma Overton is a dedicated Dental Assistant, bringing her passion for dental nursing since 2000. With a completed Dental Assisting Certificate III, she takes pride in her artistry, camping adventures, and quality time with family. Emma is learning Auslan to communicate with patients who are hearing impaired.
