Oral Examinations
We provide emergency, comprehensive and periodic examinations. We welcome patients to attend for consultations also.
Check up, Clean & Fluoride Treatment
It is recommended to have regular 6-monthly Check up, Clean and Fluoride Treatments to diagnose and prevent problems early. We have GBT - Guided Biofilm Therapy with Airflow Master System.
Children's Dentistry
We provide dentistry for children. We have Happy Gas/Relative Analgesia to help make treatment more comfortable. We also use Laser Numbing to numb teeth. And Local Anaesthetic if required.
Fillings/Restorations
We use Laser Numbing to anaesthetise teeth. We also provide Local Anaesthetic if required. We provide tooth coloured/white fillings. We also provide Milled restorations.
Crowns, Implant Crowns & Bridges
We use a digital process i.e. an Intraoral Scanner to scan the teeth for the design, fabrication and milling of Crowns, Implant Crowns and Bridges in house.
Dentures
We provide custom made dentures: Full Upper and Lower Dentures, Partial Acrylic Dentures, Partial metal(chrome cobalt)/Acrylic Dentures, Valplast Dentures, Unilateral Dentures.
Teeth Whitening
We provide Fotona Lightwalker Laser Teeth Whitening is provided in surgery or at home Pola Day Whitening.
Custom Sport Mouth Guards & Occlusal Splints
We provide custom Sport Mouth Guards.
For patients who grind/brux their teeth, we provide custom made Occlusal Splints or Night Guards.
Orthodontics
We provide Orthodontic Treatment i.e. Teeth Straightening via Orthodontic Aligners with Invisalign or Smile Academy. We use iTero Intraoral Scanner, which also has an Orthodontic Simulation feature to show your teeth before and after aligner treatment.
Implants
We provide Titanium Implant placement. We use an iTero Intraoral Scanner and CBVT/3D x-radiograph done in surgery for Implant Planning and fabrication of a Surgical Implant Guide. We also provide Implant Restoration.
Extractions
We remove teeth, that require removal e.g. problematic wisdom teeth, teeth with severe periodontal disease, abscessed teeth (we may provide root canal therapy to save the tooth) and broken down teeth.
Endodontics/Root Canal Therapy
We provide Root Canal Therapy for teeth, that have abscessed or when the nerve has died. We use Fotona Laser Sweeps to sterilise the canals. We advise it is best to have root treated teeth crowned to strengthen the tooth.

I am a general dentist. I aim to provide dental treatments of the highest quality. I am constantly doing Continued Professional Development and investing in the latest equipment e.g. Fotona Lightwalker laser, iTero Intraoral Scanner, EMS Airflow Master, OPG/CBVT Radiography, Digital Intraoral X-ray Sensors.

I am a dedicated Dental Assistant and have my completed my Dental Assisting Certificate III, I discovered I had a passion for Dental nursing in 2000 and I have enjoyed dental assisting since. My hobbies are I enjoy art work, camping and spending time with family, I have also learnt Auslan, so I am able to communicate with sign with patients who are hearing impaired, I enjoy working here at Carina Dental Practice as we are a highly skilled and motivated and caring team.

Our Equipment
EMS Airflow Master
We have invested in the state of the art Oral Cleaning System called Airflow Master. GBT or Guided Biofilm Therapy. We disclose the dentition, rinse and then utilise it to educate our patients regarding Oral Hygiene/Biofilm. We then use warm water with Airflow Master to clean the dentition, after which we use EMS ultrasonic scaler to remove calculus.

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is the systematic, predictable solution for dental biofilm management in professional prophylaxis using state of the art AIRFLOW®, PERIOFLOW® and PIEZON® technologies. It is proven by scientific evidence.
Guided Biofilm Therapy consists of treatment protocols based on individual patient diagnosis and risk assessment in order to achieve optimal results. The treatment is given in the least invasive way, with the highest level of comfort, safety and efficiency.

GINGIVITIS
One of the main causes of gingivitis is the presence of biofilm. The EMS Biofilm Discloser reveals the presence of biofilm indicating incorrect oral hygiene. GBT was performed using the AIRFLOW PLUS Powder. GBT motivated the patient on the correct use of interdental aids and tooth brushing.
